Sea Kayaking Day Trips
Your half day adventure in St. Louis Bay includes stops for adventure games, a devotional opportunity and a lunch. Light on the travel, heavy on the fun! Tandem and single kayaks designed to allow the beginning paddler to handle a variety of conditions. Full day adventures bring you to sea caves in the Apostle Islands or under 200' cliffs along the North Shore. Typical local paddles consist of approximately six hours of instruction, safety training and team building games. North Shore and Apostle Island day trips require additional travel time and training. Apostle Islanad Sea Kayaking
The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is considered one of the most scenic and exciting sea kayaking destinations in the world. Check out the unbelievable beauty of the sea caves, incredibly clear Lake Superior waters, vast sand beaches or maybe one of the islands' famous lighthouses. Arrive at our Base Camp the for the evening and we will get acquainted and offer you accommodations for two nights. On our first full day, we will pack, worship together and spend ample time doing our sea kayak training in the warmer, protected waters of Lake Nebagamon before venturing out into this world renowned destination. We will venture out early on the second day for several full days exploring, paddling and camping within this awesome gem of Creation. Campfire time and devotional times will offer great opportunities to reflect upon the gifts the Lord has given us. We will experience serving one another in an environment like no other.
