Statement of Purpose

Foundations International School of Ministry has been established for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.

Eph.4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Our desire is to be a "Ministry Training School." Therefore our emphasis will always be on causing the student to apply what they are learning.

We will do this though systematic teaching of the Word of God and by helping each student build spiritual disciplines into their lives in such a way as to motivate them to be a doer of the Word.

Jas.1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

It is our belief that one does not know something until they are applying it to their lives. Therefore with each class we will have an internship/final exam project, this will include assignments, and mission outreaches to help the student in practical experience and application of what is being taught. These internship/final exam assignments must be completed in order to receive credit for the class.
